Norwich High School for Girls Friends Anniversary Concert

The concert was a celebration of the 135th anniversary of Norwich High School for Girls. All performers (20 pupils, supported by staff) were members of the school's excellent music department. The Friends were delighted to give these talented musicians the opportunity to perform in a public venue. The programme included Ophelia's Song by Maconchy, Handel's Meine Seele and Dido's Lament by Purcell. The audience was extremely complimentary about the standard of performance and the pleasure the girls gave.
