The Noirwich Crime Writing Festival returns this month (September 12-15) with a host of talks, workshops and events spanning four days at three different venues. Some of Britain's leading crime writers, including Louise Doughty, Erin Kelly, James Runcie, Mick Heron and Vaseem Khan, will be sharing their expertise, thoughts and ideas for the festival which is run by the National Centre for Writing and UEA. BBC news presenter and correspondent George Alagiah will give the annual crime writing lecture on September 13. His career at the BBC spans over 30 years and he has also written a highly anticipated crime novel The Burning Land.
