An exciting foodie market is coming to north Norfolk for July and August

Launching on Saturday 4th July, the inaugural Street Food Market will be held at The Pigs at Edgefield - and will continue each Saturday from midday to 4pm throughout July and August.

The event has secured some brilliant local food makers for the first market including The Bucket List serving up loaded fries, Pop Up Gelato cooling visitors down with their Italian-style ice creams, and tempting street food from Squilla & Squidge will be available - and more!

Tipples will be provided from local vendors including WhataHoot gin and Norwich-brewed Raider Cider.

Head chef at The Pigs, Michael Copeman says: “We’re thrilled to be launching the Street Food Market this summer, bringing local businesses together and utilising the outside space we have here at The Pigs.

“With the changing government guidelines concerning social distancing, patrons can be assured they will be safe within large, marked parking spaces, clear signage across the event and hand sanitising points.”

Cromer Soul Club will be providing musical entertainment in the form of a vinyl DJ set during the day. Trevor Bailey and Piers Hawkins, DJs from the Cromer Soul Club say, “We can’t wait to get back on the decks and give that vinyl a spin. With some of the best food and drink on offer it’s a great opportunity to support local business, whilst enjoying some of the best Soul music ever made. Let’s hope it’s the first of many!”
