Looking for extra sweet experiences for Valentine’s Day? From sweet shops, to gelato, vegan cakes to giant waffle sundaes here are some of the best sweet offerings Norfolk has to offer for Valentine’s Day and beyond

- Cafe Gelato

There's never a bad time for gelato, and Valentine's Day is no exception. Fancy seeking out some new and original flavours of gelato? Try a scoop of almond and orange, 'kibana' (kiwi and banana), prosecco and strawberry, pear or blood orange sorbet. These can be found along with the usual neopolitan classics at family run Cafe Gelato in Norwich. With the ever-changing range of flavours and experimental delicacies on offer (hot cross bun gelato anyone?), this is a sweet spot to take your beau. Great coffee too!

- Dotti Chocolates

Situated in the Norwich Lanes, Dotti Chocolates, sister shop to Bread Source (the two shops being owned by husband and wife team Hannah and Steven Winter), offers an array of beautifully decorated chocolates. With tantalising flavours, such as Norfolk gin and lemon, Norfolk honey with whisky, and exotic tastes including passionfruit or aperol spritz and a tempting hazelnut truffle. There are even dark chocolate truffles for vegans. The chocolates, after meticulous experimentation, are crafted 'bean to bar' with Fairtrade chocolate from Belgium and Colombia, and processed locally at Bread Source.
