Get out your Christmas list and start ticking off gifts, with Judith Palmer’s round-up of November events to get you into the festive spirit
Spread a little love when you visit GreenAcres Colney, located just outside Norwich on the Watton Road, which is holding a Christmas Charities Fair this month, selling gifts, crafts and cards. Open from 10am to 2.30pm, guests are also welcome to wander in the woodland with self-guided maps available.

Beat the Christmas rush
Enjoy a two course roast lunch with tea and coffee, for £14.95, followed by a walk and visit to the gift shop selling lovely Christmas presents, at the National Trust’s Oxborough Hall, Oxburgh, near Swaffham.

A royal Christmas
For a right royal treat head to the Sandringham Christmas Craft Show to browse the charming stalls, watch the many demonstrations and meet craftsmen at work as they personalise that perfect gift.
Adults £7, over-65s £6.50, children £2.
Avoid feeling like Scrooge this winter with a visit to see Chapterhouse Theatre Company’s magical production of Dickens’ most famous festive story, A Christmas Carol at The Carnegie Room, Thetford.

Start your festivities with a trip to beautiful Blickling Hall and its 1930s Christmas with an art nouveau theme. Wander through the decorated house, enjoy festive entertainment, cooking in the kitchen and costumed interpretation, then explore the garden lit up before you embark on some early Christmas shopping. Normal admission applies, no booking required.
A great time
The annual festive craft and gift market takes over the Market Place and Great Yarmouth Minster this November. Get into the Christmas spirit and be inspired to find the perfect gifts for your loved ones.
Visit the hall
Christmas shopping event at Hautbois Hall, Little Hautbois, near Lammas, NR12 7JR, decorations for the home and lovely gifts for the family. Opens 10am, until 8pm (Fri), 5pm (Sat), 4pm (Sun).
The Fabulous Festive Fair returns to The Assembly House, Norwich. With a huge real Christmas tree in the courtyard, this elegant central venue is perfect for a spot of Christmas shopping. There will be an array of stalls, from festive decorations and foods to pottery, jewellery, woodcraft, glassware, textiles, wooden toys, plants and more, plus live carols from The Pavilion Brass Band.

Holt for Christmas
Located just outside the historic town that bears its name, Holt Hall is a lovely venue for this Christmas Fair. Sixty stalls will occupy all of the ground floor and stables, showcasing local food and drink, clothing, crafts and all things festive, as well as a 10-foot tree and log fire to greet visitors.
