The Swan Hotel, Lavenham

Steeped in history, the 15th century half-timbered Swan Hotel lies in the heart of rural Suffolk. Enjoy light afternoon tea beside crackling log fires in inglenook fireplaces and a two AA rosette menu in the beamed and vaulted Gallery Restaurant. The hotels historic Old Bar is a particular talking point, decorated with world war two airmens signatures and memorabilia. The Crown at Woodbridge
