You don’t need to travel far for your hen party celebrations – Norfolk has everything you need for your perfect party, says Rachel Buller.
Day at the races
Get dressed up and enjoy an exciting day at the races. Great Yarmouth Racecourse and Fakenham Racecourse offer hospitality packages for every budget, including food, drink and the chance for a flutter. Your hen do doesn’t have to be about dressing up, dinner or a night on the town – why not be more adventurous?
Head to Thetford Forest for a day of activities. Spend the morning mountain biking on the various trails which lead from the High Lodge centre and then in the afternoon, swing through the trees with Go Ape – all followed by a hot chocolate and piece of cake.
At Norfolk Ski Club in Trowse, near Norwich, enjoy the thrills of tubing as you speed down the slopes in large inflatable rings. There are 20 spaces in each hour-long session and all equipment is provided.
With Wroxham adventure company Activ-8, you can organise your own package of activities. The choice includes abseiling, archery, canoeing, raft building, air rifle shooting, go karting and mountain biking, and the team will arrange it all, including transport to and from where you are staying.
