For those worrying that social distancing might mean no Guy Fawkes Night this year, this event might be just the thing for you
Remember, remember, the fifth of November. We all learnt the traditional rhyme at school and the onset of autumn brings thoughts of the British festival of Guy Fawkes Night to mind.
The coronavirus and subsequent lockdown has thrown many holidays out of sync and those worried about post-lockdown social distancing measures might wonder whether bonfire night will be cancelled completely this year.
But a new event, perhaps Norfolk’s first ever drive in fireworks night, is coming this year. Organised by local business To Die For Events, the drive in fireworks display will be held close to the Suffolk border in the village of Aldeby.
There is an annual display at Aldeby that has been reimagined to adhere to government measures surrounding social distancing to stop the spread of the virus.
