Ringstead celebrates its 39th annual open garden event. Gardens open from 11am, lunch served at The Old Rectory, with teas available from Westgate House, along with craft stalls, cakes, tombola, raffle and plant stall. St Andrew’s Church will house the floral displays, and art work will be on display around the gardens.

Prized art

See the shortlisted pieces for this year’s Holt Festival Art Prize at the Auden Theatre in Holt. The winner will be announced at a private view on July 24, by actor Sir John Hurt.
