A community photographic project aims to show the diversity of a Norfolk town
Next month images of a number of Fakenham folk will adorn the town in a special photographic project. People and Places - Images of Fakenham will see professional photographer Keith Osborn produce images of a range of people in a community project run with Active Fakenham to showcase diversity in the town.
He already has over 20 subjects caught on camera. "I'd had a long-standing interest in portrait photography when Active Fakenham came up with the idea of a series of environmental portraits," says Keith.

"It is normal, everyday people in the town - almost a snapshot of the town at a certain time."
The subjects have come forward through social media appeals and cover a wide range of personalities, interests and working backgrounds. "I'm really having good fun doing it. All of them have been really positive." Keith says that the project has given him a fresh challenge. "Taking pictures of people but having the objective of fulfilling an artistic project theme has a different feel to it," he says. "I was keen to push myself in a different direction and this has been a great opportunity to do that."

Keith, who describes himself as self-taught, came to the town in 2007 when he left his former career as a London banker, a move he says has been a success for him. "We love it here; it's a smashing little town."
The exhibition will run in August and Active Fakenham is also looking at producing a book, a calendar and postcards of the town.
