Step out in style and spot the trends at this year’s Royal Norfolk Show – and don’t forget to come and say hello!
It is the highlight of the summer’s social calendar as thousands of people head to the Royal Norfolk Show for a two-day celebration of all that makes our county so special. Of course, it is also an opportunity to get dressed up in your finery and do a spot of style spotting in the sunshine – or occasionally from under your umbrella!
Once again, the Jarrold’s and EDP Norfolk Fashion Show with Fosters Solicitors will be the place to be to discover all the great new looks for the season, as well as getting gorgeous hair and make-up tips.
And don’t forget to look out for Heart East Anglia breakfast radio presenters Dave Taylor and Heidi Secker, who will enjoy a live catwalk makeover.
The fashion marquee will host catwalk shows featuring men’s and women’s wear throughout both days, with high energy performances choreographed by Ekiko for Jarrold’s, with models from Ekiko Model Management, all staged by the talented team at PSE.
Among the labels being featured are Ted Baker, Weekend Max Mara, Michael Kors, LK Bennett, Gagliardi, Tommy Hilfiger and Gant.
And do drop by to say hello to members of the EDP Norfolk magazine team who will be looking forward to meeting readers at the fashion marquee. We love hearing what you think about the magazine and hearing your ideas for articles for future issues too.
Leanne Craske, business development manager at Fosters Solicitors, which is partnering the exciting fashion marquee shows, says that the Royal Norfolk Show has become a key date in the Norwich solicitors’ diary.
“It is an event that truly showcases the best that Norfolk has to offer, and as the oldest law firm in the county, we are extremely proud to be part of its biggest event of the year.”
Smart & stylish
Dress to impress at this year’s Royal Norfolk Show and you could win a fantastic prize, writes Rachel Buller.
Whatever the weather, the Royal Norfolk Show is a great place to spot some fabulous fashion – whether understated elegance, all out glamour or a unique outfit that has been cleverly put together.
And it isn’t just the women – male visitors to the show turn out in all their finery, displaying their sartorial style in sharp suits, country tweeds and casual wear with a twist.
This year, I will be joining the team of style-spotters from intu Chapelfield in Norwich to search the crowds for the best dressed visitors and those wearing the most eye-catching hats at the show.
On both show days, a £250 gift voucher for intu Chapelfield and one-to-one styling session with House of Fraser’s personal shopper, will be awarded to two Best Dressed winners, while the winner of the Headline Hat competition will receive a £100 voucher.
If you think your outfit is worthy of winning but you don’t get picked out of the crowds by the judges, please stop by the judging area in front of the RNAA offices on the Showground at 3pm both days and you might be in with a chance.
See you there:
