A nippy tale

Burnham Deepdale label Gone Crabbing has a fantastic new range for summer – and it’s not just clothing. Susie Mason launched the brand in 2008, creating a coastal inspired range of fun, stylish clothing for children and adults, perfect for a day at the seaside. Central to many of her designs and logo is her Cromer crab character Colin, and now kids can not only wear a hoodie bearing his image – they can read about his adventures.

The newest addition to the Gone Crabbing range is the Colin the Crab pop-up book, written by Susie, featuring him and his seaside friends, Sally the Starfish and Mike the Mussel in a story brought to life by Robert Crowther with an underlying message about how to have fun rockpooling while ensuring no harm comes to the creatures who live there.

The book costs £7.99, from Gone Crabbing, Dalegate Market, Burnham Deepdale, PE31 8FB, 01485 211111; 64 High Street, Southwold, IP18 6DN, 01502 722400; www.gonecrabbing.co.uk
